Welcome to Elstree
Set within 150 acres of Berkshire countryside, Elstree is a co-educational prep school for children aged 3 to 13, offering day, flexi and boarding options. It is a place where children are known as individuals, where learning is purposeful, and where a strong sense of community shapes everyday life.
With around 300 pupils, Elstree is small enough for every child to be truly known. Relationships between pupils, staff and families are central to school life, creating a sense of ease, belonging and quiet confidence that allows children to flourish.
Space to Grow, Time to Belong
The school’s grounds are part of everyday life at Elstree, from woodland and lakes to sports pitches and open space. Children spend time outdoors exploring, playing and learning together, building confidence, independence and strong friendships.
This sense of belonging continues beyond the school day, with flexible boarding offering a familiar, supportive environment where routines are shared, and friendships grow.
